Online Classes for Professionals - 2 CEUs.  NAMI Minnesota is a continuing education provider approved by the Board of Social Work, St. Paul, MN.  (Continuing Education Provider Approval #CEP-83).  Once completed, you may download and print a course completion certificate.
  • Compassion into Action:  Recognizing and Responding to Patients with Mental Illnesses - Learn about the impact of attitudes toward people with mental illnesses when it comes to receiving appropriate treatments and practical de-escalation techniques including how to respond with empathy. This online class is for hospital staff and health care personnel, particularly people who work in the emergency room.  
  • Allies in Recovery - Learn about the important role families play in a person’s recovery. This online class covers issues that families have identified as important to them, such as: how to engage them, information sharing, and involvement in treatment planning. This online class is for mental health and health care professionals.
